Experience
Jennifer M. Osgood is a seasoned commercial litigator with in-depth experience handling business disputes and business divorce matters for owners, executives, and closely held companies. A Partner at BCR Law Partners (f/k/a Chipman Glasser LLC), Jennifer is often brought in when the issues are both legally complex and operationally urgent—when governance breaks down, relationships fracture, and the future of the business is on the line.
Her work concentrates on the full range of private-company conflict: limited liability company litigation, breach of fiduciary duty claims, disputes surrounding the separation or termination of officers, directors, and managers, and judicial dissolution proceedings. She also handles complex commercial litigation—including sophisticated contract disputes and earnout disagreements—and regularly litigates restrictive covenant and trade secret matters involving non-competes, non-solicitation provisions, and confidential business information. Across these cases, Jennifer is known for pairing pragmatic judgment with hard-nosed advocacy, moving matters strategically through negotiation, mediation, trial, and—when needed—appeal.
Before joining BCR Law Partners, Jennifer built her practice at Burns, Figa & Will, P.C., where she served as an Associate and later as a Shareholder. That foundation—years spent in the trenches of business litigation—shapes her approach today: master the facts early, simplify what can be simplified, and position the case to win at every stage.
