Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the firm rebrand?

  • The firm rebranded to reflect a change in partnership as well as to highlight our focus on resolving business conflict. We are pleased to unite under a new name that aligns with our more focused practice and defined mission.

Has ownership, leadership, or management changed?

  • BCR Law Partners (also referred to as “BCR Law”) is still made up of the same dedicated team. But we are pleased to announce that Jennifer Osgood, who has been with the firm since 2019, will be stepping up as an equity partner alongside firm founder Daniel Glasser.

Is the firm still the same legal entity?

  • Yes, the firm is still operating under the same legal entity as before.

Are the attorneys and staff the same?

  • Yes, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff will all remain the same.

Does the rebrand affect my current case or representation?

  • No. Everything about your current representation will remain the same. If you have an active case, you may have received notice that we filed an official name change with the court. The only effect this will have in your case is that we will appear as “BCR Law Partners” on all court records and documents, instead of Chipman Glasser.

Will my existing agreements or fee arrangements change?

  • Yes, but not due to the rebrand. Effective January 1 2026, amendments to applicable law require us to update the terms of our engagement agreements. If you have an active case, you should have received an updated engagement agreement for signature. If you did not receive a new engagement agreement but believe that you should have, please reach out to your attorney.

Have the firm’s practice areas changed?

  • The firm’s practice areas have not changed. Our marketing, however, will focus on highlighting our strengths as a firm to continue to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Why focus on a specific area of expertise?

  • Business conflicts are complex and highly fact-specific, requiring deep, specialized experience. By focusing our practice in this area, we bring concentrated knowledge, practical judgment, and full attention to each matter, ensuring clients receive informed, effective representation during critical business and personal situations.

Will my point of contact remain the same?

  • Yes. The team you interact with regarding your case, whether it be the attorney, paralegal or billing, will remain the same.

Has the firm’s approach to client service changed?

  • No, nothing about the firm’s approach to client service and relationship has changed. BCR Law Partners places a premium on what matters most to our clients. It’s your goals and objectives—not our agenda—that fuel our work.

Have your billing practices changed?

  • No. Our billing practices will remain the same as well as our billing channels. You can still find everything needed to pay invoices, check outstanding invoices, and pay retainers on our website under the Client Portal.

Are your office location, phone numbers, or email addresses the same?

  • For the most part. Our location, hours and phone numbers will all remain the same. The only difference in contact will be our email addresses. From now on, all email correspondence will be coming from “@bcrlawpartners.com” instead of “@chipmanglasser.com.” However, if an email is sent to a former @chipmanglasser.com address, we will still receive it.

What does the new name mean?

  • Our new name represents our dedication and focus on Business Conflict Resolution (“BCR”). We felt it important to distinguish ourselves as Partners to highlight the highly collaborative, insightful, and experienced team that works on every case. We believe in working in partnership alongside one another to deliver the best service and outcome that we can.

How should I refer to the firm going forward?

  • BCR Law Partners is our full and official name, however the abbreviated name “BCR Law” is also interchangeable.

Will documents or court filings look different?

  • Documents and court filings will have a similar format, with the only difference being the appearance of our new name and/or our new logo (which can be found at the top of this page).

Does the rebrand affect the firm’s past results or reputation?

  • No. The new name will carry forward the same reputation for results and legacy that Chipman Glasser built. We strive to build on and continue the legacy in a positive direction.

Are your attorneys still licensed in the same jurisdictions?

  • Yes. Every attorney is still licensed in the same jurisdictions.

Do I need to do anything because of the rebrand?

  • Ensure that all contact information is updated with the new email addresses, and confirm that our new emails do not end up in your spam folder.

Where can I find updated firm information?

Who can I contact if I have questions about the rebrand?

  • You can reach out directly to your main contact at the firm or email us at fi**@************rs.com.
